Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles proudly participated in the EYSM & Byron Scott 4th Annual Help for Homeless Children Food and Christmas Toy Drive during our annual Employee Luncheon. Our team came together to celebrate the season while collecting food and new toys to support children and families in need through the Downtown Union Mission. This annual event reflects our continued commitment to giving back to the community and supporting meaningful local outreach efforts.

Supporting LAFD Station 46 – November 2025

Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles is proud to support our local heroes at LAFD Station 46. Today, we had the honor of donating a brand-new treadmill. A small gesture of appreciation for the incredible firefighters who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, courage, and unwavering service.

Driving Impact in Our Community - March 2025

At Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles, we’re proud to support events that uplift and inspire. Ms. G will take the stage at the 2025 International Anointed Ministries Women’s Conference (March 21-23) to deliver her powerful keynote, "Ashes to Beauty."

Inspired by Isaiah 61:3, she’ll share a message of hope and renewal, encouraging women to embrace transformation through faith. Under the theme "Women Crowned with Beauty in Exchange for Ashes," her words will uplift and empower.

Beyond Our Kin - Ava Walker and Alexander Clayton - Fill the Truck Teddy Bear Drive - June 2024

This isn't about selling cars, financials, or market share. It's about doing the right thing. We at Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles were delighted to assist Ava Walker and Alexander Clayton with Beyond Our Kin in collecting #TeddyBears for our local #FosterKids. Our finance partners, team members, and local community played a HUGE role in this effort! Thank you to everyone who dropped off or shipped a Teddy Bear for a child in need.

We donated the use of two vans to our local LAPD for The Baker To Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. It is a 120-mile foot race that starts in Baker, CA and ends in Las Vegas, NV. We were so proud to support the South Traffic Division running team!

California Hospital Medical Center - March 2023

100% of the funds we donated will be used to modernize their campus, including the construction of a four-story patient tower with expanded emergency, trauma, maternity and neonatal intensive care units that will open in 2023. Our support will help CHMC bridge the health disparity gap in Los Angeles and create a thriving community for all.

Once Upon a Room - January 2023

Once Upon a Room received a $10,000 donation from GLANCDA and Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles in support of the organization's efforts to enrich the lives of hospitalized children, teens, and infants who are fighting serious illnesses and long-term acute trauma. Once Upon a Room decorates pediatric hospital rooms with items patients can take home with them as they continue their recovery.

Giving BACK! Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles donated to the Los Angeles Police Department to help pay for their internal Holiday Celebration in December! They do an amazing job protecting our community and we appreciate all they do.

Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles donated holiday goodies to the hardworking men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department! We appreciate all that these heroes do to keep our community safe on a daily basis.The Los Angeles Fire Department provides exceptional Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services by being metric driven, technologically sophisticated and community-focused while reflecting the people we serve.

LAPD Shop With A Cop

The season of giving continues! Hyundai of DTLA participated in the 2021 LAPD "Shop With A Cop" toy shopping spree for 100 kids, held at a local Target this December. We donated gift cards to kids as a way of giving back to our community. Each participant was able to shop for toys and treats to celebrate the holiday season and was accompanied by a police officer to form a positive connection.

Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles held a canned food drive this November to help out families in need. Our customers and staff members came together to collect over 500 canned-food items, which were donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank the week before Thanksgiving. The food bank has been fighting hunger since 1973. Their research shows that one in five people in Los Angeles County experiences food insecurity. Their vision is that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County, and Hyundai DTLA helped to accomplish that goal this November.

Los Angeles Police Department

Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles donated lunch to 300 Los Angeles County Police Officers during an appreciation event in October. Our staff helped to serve the officers during this event. The Los Angeles Police Department is committed to serving the community while protecting the rights of all persons. Consistent with this commitment, the Department's Vision, Mission and Core Values, in concert with the Law Enforcement the Code of Ethics and the Department's Management Principles, reflect the guiding philosophy of the Los Angeles Police Department. It was an honor to show our support for Los Angeles Police Officers and we appreciate them for all they do to keep us safe.

Arts, Film & Goods Pantry

Supplying essential goods that kids need to be successful, the Arts, Film, & Goods Pantry believes that supporting our youth is the best way to ensure their bright future. We work with thousands of volunteers, social workers, advocates, and other partners to transform the way kids experience foster care. Our programs are created to provide a way for people who cannot become foster parents to still have a meaningful and effective way to help children in foster care. We participated in Arts, Film & Goods Pantry's "It Takes a Village" Toy Drive for foster youth on December 5th. Our donation was used to purchase coats, winter boots, hat and scarf sets.

Hope Street Margolis Family Center

A part of the California Hospital Medical Center, the mission of the Hope Street group is to educate children in our area and strengthen families. Children who attend programs also receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack every day. Hope Street offers a wide array of health education, screenings and recreation and fitness activities for both children and adults.

HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles)

Another organization near to our hearts, HOLA provides underserved youth in the Los Angeles area with programs in academics, arts, and athletics, helping them to develop their potential and pursue their dreams. We expect kids to use their talents and opportunities to engage in the world around them in meaningful ways. Every child has the potential to become a productive, caring, and responsible citizen, who is working hand-in-hand with staff, board members, volunteers, policy makers, and parents, to make our community a better place.
